Directorate of Agribusiness Development is the Regional Coordinating Institute (RCI) for 157 Participating Institutions (PIs) of 10 Districts of Tamil Nadu operating under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan 2.0. In this regard, RCI, TNAU is organizing EDII sponsored one day “Awareness Campaign on Innovation Voucher Program (IVP)” to the faculty members and students of all Participating Institutions (PIs) under UBA on 23.11.2020.
The objectives of the IVP program are,
· To Promote research/innovation among MSMEs/Start-ups for creating commercially viable products and services
· To Encourage and sustain collaboration between industry, academia and Government.
· To Increase awareness and participation of MSMEs/Start-ups in Science & Innovation.
Through this program, grant will be provided under two different categories viz., Voucher A and Voucher B for promoting Innovation and entrepreneurship.
Voucher A: Grant for the maximum of Rs.2.00 lakhs for idea validation
Voucher B: 50% of the total budget for approved activities, subject to a maximum of Rs.5.00 lakhs for implementation of product /process /business model innovation project.
